Product spotlight-Issue 2: Juton
Smart, versatile and increasingly popular among eco-fabrics, in our second issue of product spotlight we will be talking about Juton. For all those who do not know, Juton is our new innovation in fabric. Also known as Juco, this fabric is made of 50% jute and 50% cotton. It is made to combine the best properties of Jute and cotton in your bag.
Jute is the strongest of all-natural fibers. Also known as ‘Golden fiber’ because of the color, it comes second only to cotton. Cultivation of jute requires little to no fertilizers or pesticides, rainwater is enough.
Talking about cotton, it is the world’s most popular fabric. Also known as ‘white gold’, cotton is soft and sturdy. It is breathable and durable. But unlike jute, cotton is a resource-intensive crop.
We combined cotton with jute to create a versatile fabric, great in texture and usability.
Both the fabrics are eco-friendly and biodegradable.
The best properties of jute and cotton make a super fabric that has the strength of jute and softness of cotton. We have named this eco-friendly fabric Juton. It is green to its core and a new breakthrough in sustainable fabrics. The texture of Juton feels beautiful, soft and sturdy.
Here are a few advantages of Juton
- Both jute and cotton are eco-friendly. At Norquest, Juton is made of 50% jute and 50% cotton, making it eco-friendly and sustainable.
- The Juton we produce is specially woven for the customer keeping in mind their requirements.
- Juton is easier to print when the print required has intricate designs, logo or words in small font. Juton has a finer weave as compared to jute alone allowing for a fine print.
- Our Juton bag has a low carbon footprint as compared to cotton bags.
Since Juton is a very high-quality weave, it makes for a great everyday tote bag/shopping bag, and is perfect as a promotional product, for bulk giveaways and party favors. Come across as an environmentally friendly brand with our Juton bags for trade show giveaways, conference giveaway bags, and gifts to your corporate clients.
